Mobile roadside help that comes to your vehicle

When a vehicle stops being drivable, the problem is rarely just the car — it is where the car stopped. A dead battery in a Buckhead office deck, a flat tire on a Decatur side street, an electric vehicle that ran out of charge two exits short of a charger on I-20: each of those is a stranded driver who cannot get the vehicle to a shop.

Trustee Roadside Assistance is a mobile service. Instead of asking you to bring the vehicle somewhere, a technician brings the equipment to the vehicle and performs the service on site whenever the situation and the location safely allow it.

Where we perform roadside service around Atlanta

Most roadside calls in Metro Atlanta do not happen on an open highway shoulder. They happen where people actually park.

  • Homes and driveways
  • Apartment complexes and condo communities
  • Parking lots and shopping centers
  • Multi-level parking garages and office decks
  • Hotels and short-term stays
  • Workplaces and corporate campuses
  • College and university campuses
  • Surface streets and neighborhood roads
  • Interstate and highway areas where service can be performed safely

Interstate and highway safety

Some highway positions are not safe to work in. If your vehicle is in a live travel lane, on a narrow shoulder, in a curve with poor sightlines, or in a construction zone on I-285, I-75, I-85, I-20 or GA-400, tell the dispatcher when you call. In some cases the correct answer is to move the vehicle to a safer position first, or to involve Georgia DOT HERO or law enforcement before roadside work begins.

If you are in immediate danger, call 911 first.

How the service process works

  • Call 478-202-3221, or use the Share My Location button and submit a roadside request from your phone.
  • Describe the vehicle (year, make, model, color) and exactly what is happening.
  • Confirm your location — GPS coordinates plus a note like "Level 3, near the elevators" makes a real difference in a parking deck.
  • You receive a call back to confirm the service, the situation and current pricing before anything is dispatched.
  • A technician travels to the vehicle and performs the service on site when the situation allows.

What roadside assistance can and cannot fix

Roadside assistance is designed to get a stranded vehicle moving again or to make it transportable. It is not a repair shop. A jumpstart does not prove a battery is healthy, mobile charging does not repair an electrical fault, and a spare tire is a temporary measure — not a replacement tire.

If the underlying problem is mechanical or electrical, the honest answer at the roadside is sometimes that the vehicle needs a shop or a tow. We will tell you that rather than sell you a service that will not solve the problem.

Frequently asked questions

Do you provide roadside assistance 24 hours a day in Atlanta?

Yes. Trustee Roadside Assistance takes roadside calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for Atlanta and Metro Atlanta. Call 478-202-3221.

How quickly can roadside assistance arrive?

Arrival time depends on the technician's location, Atlanta traffic, distance, road conditions and current call volume. Call 478-202-3221 for the current estimated arrival time.

Do I need a membership or a roadside plan?

No. Trustee Roadside Assistance is pay-per-service: you call, describe the situation, and get a personalized quote for that specific job. Trustee's EV membership plans have been discontinued, and no plans are sold. If you have a question about a past plan, call 478-202-3221.

Do you tow vehicles?

Conventional towing is not one of our listed services. If a vehicle cannot be made drivable at the roadside, we will tell you plainly so you can arrange transport.

What is the free tire check, and who gets it?

With a completed paid Trustee roadside service only, the technician can take a quick visual look at your four mounted tires, check PSI and add air to the manufacturer's recommended pressure, where safe and accessible. There's no extra charge for it. It is not a standalone service, not a formal inspection, and doesn't include tire repair or replacement.
